Intra-Company Transferee Work Permit (ICT)

ICT work permit allows companies, outside Canada, willing to expand their operations in Canadian market, send their employees (Executives, Senior Managers, Specialized knowledge) to work in a branch of that company.

Employee being transferred must be employed with the company for at least 12 months in past 3 years.

The process involves Incorporation of a Canadian company, securement of office space (can be lawyer’s office), and a detailed business plan including financial forecasts and a personnel proposal.

Upon fulfilling the conditions mentioned above, a one-year work permit would be granted, which would only be renewed if the business owner have proved their organization’s ability to be established in Canada.

Owner Operator LMIA

This program allows the foreign BUSINESS entrepreneurs or senior managers seeking temporary work permit to own (establish or purchase) and operate a business in Canada.

The candidate at a later stage may apply for permanent residency under a qualifying immigration program like FSWP under Express Entry or any other PNP program.

The process involves identifying a Canadian business to purchase, developing a business plan, LMIA application and eventually Work Permit application.

Province Nomination Program

If you want to immigrate to Canada through the Province Nomination Program (PNP), a Canadian province or territory has to nominate you.

The first thing you need to do is apply to the PNP in the province or territory where you want to settle. To qualify, you must have the skills, education and work experience you will need to settle in Canada and support yourself and your family.

The province or territory will assess if you will be able to meet their economic or labour market needs, and those of Canada.

After the province or territory approves your application, your next step is to apply for permanent residence within the time period they set out. Our team of experts will let you know whether you must apply through the Express Entry system or through regular application process:
